Sugar Easter Egg Decorations

Ingredients
  • Granulated Sugar 2 cups (400g)
  • Water as needed
  • 1 Recipe Royal Icing
Instructions
  1. Add desired food coloring and a teaspoon of water at a time to the granulated sugar to make the consistency of damp sand that packs tightly when you squeeze a fistful of it.
  2. If it is too loose and falls apart, add a few more drops of water.
  3. If it is too wet the sugar will dissolve, so be careful not to add too much at first.
