Nutella Kiss Cookies

It seems that I just can’t get enough Nutella lately and ever since I found the new Hershey’s Kiss Deluxe that are kinda like Ferrero Rocher’s but in Hershey’s Kiss form!

I have been going nutty making Nutella desserts!

Here is my spin on the Peanut Butter Blossom Cookie.

I’ve had to make some adjustments though, and the nutella in the recipe as a replacement for the peanut butter makes this cookie a bit crispier, since peanut butter is fattier and nutella is sugary-er.

But I liked the delicate result I got here though, it was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.

Try not to eat all of the Kisses before the cookies bake though, since we will be popping a Kiss onto each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven!

It’s funny because I adapted this recipe from the Original Peanut Butter Blossoms Cookie recipe that came from a Pillsbury bake Off contest in 1957.

Freda Smith was the winner and her recipe stated to just throw everything together in a mixer bowl and work it to a stiff dough! LOL

I guess Freda had never heard of creaming method before!

So of course I had to be all proper like and as you see in the video I commissioned the creaming method for sure (my CIA chef’s would be proud!)

But then I had to try it Freda’s way just to see, and I’ll be a monkey’s uncle! It works great! Lol

So anyway you mix it- whether you get all proper like me, or throw it all in like Wild Freda~ you will not go wrong with this recipe!
